Linen fabric by the metre from the TST collection
With TST printed linen fabrics, you decide exactly how much fabric you need. You order your linen fabric by the metre, starting from 50 centimetres. On each product page you can immediately see the price of your chosen length, making it easy to match the quantity to the sewing pattern you plan to use. If you prefer to see the fabric in real life first, you can order a small sample.
Linen and linen blends: different qualities, one signature style
In this category you will find various types of linen fabrics:
100% linen – with the characteristic linen texture and a natural, airy look
linen–cotton – slightly softer and often a bit less prone to creasing, great for everyday wear
linen–viscose / linen-look viscose – the linen appearance with the soft, fluid drape of viscose
Many fabrics feature modern inkjet prints or embroidery, which bring colour gradients, motifs and fine details beautifully to life. The TST collection is updated regularly, so you can keep discovering new designs.
Uses for TST printed linen fabrics
With TST printed linen fabrics you can create a wide range of garments, such as:

wide-leg trousers, culottes or straight summer trousers
lightweight jackets and waistcoats
Some qualities are also suitable for light home décor projects, such as cushion covers or table runners with a unique print. Thanks to their natural look, these fabrics fit perfectly into a wardrobe with timeless basics and a few standout statement pieces.

Sewing with TST printed linen fabrics
When working with linen and linen-blend fabrics, it is advisable to pre-wash the fabric first, as it can shrink slightly. After washing, press the fabric smooth so you can place your pattern pieces neatly on the straight grain. Use a universal needle in the right size for your chosen quality, and finish your seams neatly with an overlock stitch or zigzag stitch, as linen tends to fray more than some other fabrics.
Keep in mind that creasing is a natural characteristic of linen and adds to its relaxed, natural appearance. Linen blends with viscose or cotton usually crease a little less, while still retaining the linen look.
